25th Anniversary: NASME unlocking business opportunities in Nigeria

As the countdown to the 25th Anniversary of Nigerian Association of Small Medium Enterprise (NASME) begins, the National President of the association, Dr. Abdulrasheed Yerima has highlighted some of the ingredients to garnish the event.
The anniversary is scheduled to take place November 12th, 2022 in Ibom Resort Uyo, Akwa-Ibom state precisely.
Speaking to Newsmen the President said the theme “Untapped catalysts for Nigeria’s socio-economic development” is careful selected to unlock business opportunities for the participants and it will be discussed elaborately by economic Experts.
He revealed that the ‘Silver Anniversary’ will feature Exhibition, Speeches, Gala Night, Award presentations and
Inauguration of New BoT Members among pertinent activities.
According to him NASME is the apex MSMEs business management organization and recognized as leading voice in Nigeria with 5.1 millions members categories such as Nano, Micro, Small Medium, Corporate, Institutions and Affiliates.
Dr. Yerima while listing some of the contributions of the association stressed that they have provided productive decent employments and Created jobs opportunities through various skills and entrepreneurship training.
“Youth entrepreneurship schemes, value-added innovation activities and resulting in creation of job opportunities and their widespread presence in both urban and rural areas.
“We have supported enhancement of quality of goods and services thereby increasing competitiveness locally and internationally.
He emphasized that the association activities has resulted in poverty reduction and improved the Gross Domestic Products (GDP) of the country.
