Zulum, Ribadu, others join VP Shettima for stepmother’s burial

Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum, along with a delegation from the presidency led by National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, and various prominent Nigerians, joined Vice President Kashim Shettima for the burial of his stepmother, Hajja Hausa Abba Kormi, on Thursday evening in Maiduguri.
The funeral prayer was conducted by the Chief Imam of Borno, Laisu Ibrahim Ahmad, for Hajjia Hauwa Kormi, who passed away at 69 after a prolonged illness.
The burial ceremony also saw the presence of senators, House of Representatives members, and officials including the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari, and MD of North East Development Commission, Mohammed Goni Alkali.
