Youths celebrate, want T. B. Joshua buried in Ondo

Youths from the four local government areas in Akoko area of Ondo State, at the weekend celebrated the life of the late founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) with a walk. The youths who converged on Arigidi-Akoko, the country home of the prophet who died on June 8, 2021 four days to his 58th birthday in Lagos, to celebrate him, however, appealed to the family of the deceased prophet to bring his remains back home to Arigidi-Akoko for burial.

Describing the late minister of God as a philanthropist per excellence, President of Akoko Youths Forum, Mr. Ajibuwa Ifeoluwa, said they organised the walk in honour of the man of God. The youth president described the prophet as the most philanthropic among the sons and daughters of Akoko who had ever being in existence. He said Prophet TB Joshua was a blessing to Akokoland, Ondo State, Nigeria and the world at large.

According to him, “The man of God was a shining light that has shown to every country of the world thus making Akokoland a place in the heart of the people around the world.

“Prophet T.B Joshua was a philanthropist, a role model and mentor to this generation. His message of love and help for the needy made him irresistible among the preachers and televangelists in the world. He will be greatly missed all over the world.”

Other speakers at the event also testified to the philanthropic nature of the most revered spiritual father in Akokoland, saying his good works would speak after him. They noted that his contributions to the security, welfare and education sector of the state was invaluable which would make it difficult for anyone to fill the vacuum created by his demise. President of the youths also appealed to the traditional ruler of the prophet’s country home, the Zaki of Arigidi-Akoko, Oba Yisa Olanipekun, to do everything within his capacity to ensure that the man of God should be buried in Akokoland, saying it would attract tourists to the state.
