Youth in Politics endorses Atiku, Jandor, other PDP candidates

A group of young politicians, Youth in Politics, an affiliate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), at an endorsement ceremony held recently in Lagos has endorsed the candidatures of the presidential flag bearer, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku and his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, the governorship candidate in Lagos, Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran and other PDP candidates.
The Senior Special Assistant on Communication to Dr. Bukola Saraki, Mr. Ilemona Onofa while addressing the youths, said, “There are people here who have no specific job they are doing, no definite business they are doing, because of this, every body has interest in travelling out of the country simply because they are afraid of the situation of the country.”
He went further, “This coming election is not necessarily about Atiku contesting, but it is about the principle that can make life of many Nigerians better. We must do more in other to promote the Atiku message, unification of Atiku and Okowa message in our homes, offices, church, even on the street.
“When we look at the population of those that don’t have Permanent Voters Card (PVC), at this moment in the South West, we’ll be talking of about 3 million people. There are over 7 million uncollected PVC across the country. The 3 million people who haven’t got their PVC can change the election completely if they have it,” he noted.
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor of Delta State on Entertainment, Destiny Asen, said, “Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is a philanthropist, when he was a custom officer at Apapa Port, he helped many business men to ship their goods, adding that he had impacted millions of life directly and indirectly. Anybody who comes close to Atiku gets his poverty eradicated, his life will be totally transformed. These are the reasons why many people like to associate with him.”
He explained further that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s experience as a customs officer can salvage Nigeria.
The President, Youth in Politics, Mr. Mike Nwanbufor, said, “Nigerian youths are endorsing Atiku Abubakar because of his leadership qualities and capacities. We are proud of him. He is ready to fix things that have not been fixed.”
He added that Atiku Abubakar is a unifier, that has shown politics of leadership. He is ready to reform Nigerian economy and also rule the country politely.
However, Honourable Fatima Mohammed mentioned in her speech at the event that women should be given opportunity in politics as they are ever ready to give full support to all aspirants, by evangelizing the actualisation of Alhaji Abubakar Atiku agenda and that of the PDP governorship candidate for Lagos State, Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran.
Honourable Gbenga Adeleye, while contributing to the discourse said that it was time for the youths to arise and fight for a better Lagos they have dreamt for, for years, by entrusting the state into the hands of the right man who encourages youths to keep their ball rolling in anything they aspire to acquire, in person of Jandor and that Nigeria should not be left out of development by supporting Abubakar Atiku, the great industrialist who has been curbing poverty in Nigeria from his prime age, to be the next president of Nigeria come 2023.
