You’re only good at being Messi, Neymar’s sheriff – Leboeuf slams PSG star

France hero, Frank Leboeuf, has hit out at Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes, saying he is only good at being Lionel Messi and Neymar’s ‘sheriff’.
Leboeuf branded Paredes, who is currently on loan at Juventus from PSG, as being absolutely crap for his poor performances last season.
This is coming after Argentina defeated France in the 2022 FIFA World Cup final in Qatar.
Argentina won this year’s World Cup after beating France 4-2 on penalties following a 3-3 draw after 120 minutes.
After the World Cup final game, Argentine players were jubilant with their celebrations while some possibly took it too far.
La Albiceleste players were filmed in the dressing room singing sarcastically about France forward Kylian Mbappe, who scored three goals in normal time plus a penalty in the shootout against the South Americans.
“And what the players did afterwards in the dressing room [singing about Kylian Mbappe]? Come on, the guy scored four goals against you. What are you teasing him for? So I am happy for Lionel Messi,” Leboeuf said (via Safe Betting Sites).
“He was the only player who showed humility and showed respect towards the opponents.
“So what Otomendi and Paredes did… I am not surprised about Paredes. I saw him playing for PSG, being absolutely crap and only being the sheriff of Neymar or Messi. But that is the only thing he can do on the field.”
