Members of Christ Apostolic Church, Great Grace have declared faith in the legacy left behind by Founding Publisher of Nigerian NewsDirect and Presiding Evangelist of the ministry, Evangelist (Dr) Samuel Ibiyemi.
The church members led by the Elders of the church paid the family of the Late Evangelist a visit at his Ogun state residence.
Speaking to the family, Evangelist Abimbola Durodola said Evangelist Ibiyemi took him as a father and taught him how to hold on to God.
He recalled how the demised Publisher would call him to pray even in circumstances when it was obvious Dr Ibiyemi was tired from a business trip.
He said, one of the notable mircales that made him know that this man (Evangelist Ibiyemi) is backed by God is the testimony of the twins he received when he joined the church.
“God restored to me in double fold what I had lost a while back,” he said happily.
He urged the church to hold on steadfastly to the legacy of faith and prayer Ibiyemi exemplified.
Responding, Mrs Ibiyemi appreciated the church members for their support in prayers and the visit.
She said the demise of Evangelist Ibiyemi is painful for her as a wife but she is taking solace in the fact that he has gone to be with the Jesus.
She urged them to look at their lives in retrospect and aim to continue to love godly lives.
She also encouraged them never to stop having faith, noting that though the founder has passed on, the God he served still remains and will cater for them.
