Woman tenders fake documents in UK Court

…Ministry officials arrested

Some officials of the Osun State Ministry of Women Affairs, Children and Social Welfare were recently arrested and later released on bail.  

However, the police are actively on the lookout to arrest another official of the same ministry who still remains at large.

According to a press release issued by the police command in Osun state over a fake report they issued to one Mrs Ibiyemi Olufunke Rachael — who had since tendered and used the same report to deceive and manipulate a United Kingdom court to seek judgement against her husband of 18 years, Mr Ibiyemi Olabayo Atanda, both of whom reside in the UK —  the fake documents submitted by the wife to the UK court contained damning evidences.

The arrest was made over a petition written and addressed to the Office of the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone XI Command Headquarter, Osogbo, by a barrister, a legal practitioner of Owode area, Ede, Osun State, Nigeria.

While the police are making efforts to arrest the one at large. It is suggested that the arrested suspects be arraigned in court by the police.
