Woman seeks divorce in court over husband’s alleged infidelity
A civil servant, Mary Udo, on Friday urged a Customary Court in Nyanya, Abuja to dissolve her marriage with her husband, Eze over alleged infidelity.
Udo made the plea in a divorce petition filed against her husband, which was brought before the court.
The petitioner accused her husband of indulging in extra marital affairs with different women.
“I have evidences from his telephone conversations. I have also met a woman sitting on his lap in his office.
“He no longer gives me money for feeding. I am the one paying the children’s school fees,” she said.
She prayed the court to dissolve the marriage and grant her custody of the children.
The respondent, Eze Ama, an Auto Mechanic, denied the allegations, describing them as untrue.
The presiding judge, Doocivir Yawe, adjoured the matter until Oct. 13, for hearing.
