Wike alleged ban from aso rock: lere, jackon continue fighting dirty
Lere Olayinka, a media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike and an independent journalist, Jackson Ude have continued to fight dirty on X microblogging platform over allegations of Wike’s blockage from the Aso Rock Presidential Villa.
Newsmen recalls that Jackson had in a post on his official X handle earlier in the week, alleged that the FCT Minister was barred from the Villa over drunkenness.
Jackson claimed that Wike was drunk when he received the Indian Prime Minister at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Saturday.
According to him, an anonymous security officer from the presidential villa told him that Wike was denied access to the Villa due to drunkenness.
However, clearing the air, a statement issued by Wike’s media aide countered the claim, insisting that the FCT Minister, received the Indian Prime Minister as directed by President Bola Tinubu.
The duo resumed the backlash on Wednesday when Lere shared a post of how Jackson was fined $10,000 by a US court over defamation, saying the journalist is a serial liar.
He wrote, “In faraway USA, serial liar, Jackson Ude, @jacksonpbn was fined $10,000 by a District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania”.
Reacting, Jackson threatened war against the FCT Minister’s aide, saying, “Lere, if you want to war with me, get ready. I will destroy you and your drunken Master and you will lose your job. I am not your mate in Journalism.
“You will need to return to school to handle me. Your poor education won’t allow you to understand what you just posted. But hey, let’s go there. I guess you don’t need a job”!
Accepting the challenge, Lere wrote, “Let the war start now. You will soon know that you have picked on a very wrong customer this time
