Wife petitions Ogun Commissioner of Police over threat to life, spouse’s detention, harassment by husband’s brother
A woman, Mrs Oladehin Temidayo Nancy has petitioned the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alamutu over threat to her life and unlawful detention of her husband, Mr. Oladehin Olatokunbo Olagboyega by his brother, Mr. Ishola Morounmubo for turning down sexual advances.
Mrs Oladehin, a resident of Kotogbo Village,behind Asero Estate, Abeokuta, the State capital in a petition dated 22nd of February and available to journalists, accused Mr Ishola of masterminding spiritual detention of her husband for several months before his escape.
According to her, her spouse is currently hidden based on threats from Ishola to harm him after he was rescued by the people of the area.
She also accused Mr Ishola of physically assaulting her and threatening to kill her children, revealing that she and her kids are currently living in her mother’s house, located at gateway sparklight Estate in the State in despair.
Mrs Oladehin also alleged that Mr Ishola bragged that no security operatives within the State can arrest, saying he is friends with those in authority at the command.
While calling CP Alamutu for urgent action about the matter, said she no longer sleeps with her two eyes closed due to the matter.
She revealed that currently she is nursing an ailment which was as a result of her husband brother’s bullying attitude, intimidation, mistreatment, victimisation, oppression and harassment. The petition reads, “A case of ritual, threat to life, unlawful detention, bigamy and conduct likely to cause breach of peace against me by Ishola Morounmubo.
“This is to bring to the attention of your good office the above subject matter for possible investigation, and further necessary action should my claims be confirmed to be within the limit of law protection of my family life and law infringement of fundamental human rights.
“I am a resident of Kotogbo village, behind Asero Estate Abeokuta, Ogun State and my husband Oladehin Olatokunbo Olagboyega who is currently seeking for safety. The Children and I are currently living in my mother’s house, at Gateway Sparklight Estate in Ogun State.
“Mr. Ishola Morounmubo who happened to be my husband’s brother has been physically assaulting and threatening my life and that of my children, since I refused his Lustful advance when he came to my husband’s room in the family house to have sex with me,” the petition noted.
The petition read further, “I have been down with a meritorious ailment for a while now under foul circumstances, my mother came to take me and my children to her house, hopefully the ailment would be cured but to no avail.
“Sometime in July, 2023, the culprit Mr. Ishola Morounmubo spiritually locked my husband in one of the family houses at Asero, Abeokuta for money ritual due to God and able people around intervention, my husband was quickly rescued from the boundaged.”
“It is now down on me when Mr. Ishola Morounmubo started bragging that he is dinning and wining with the police hierarchy means nothing can be done.In view of these above, I am greatly down with my husband brother bulling attitude, intimidation, mistreatment, victimization, oppression and harassment within the estate. I could no longer slept with my two eyes close due to the threatening from Mr. Ishola as a result I am calling on the Commissioner Sir to kindly look into this matter and brought the culprit to book.
Thanking you in anticipation of a rapid intervention”, the petition concluded.
The petition which was available to journalists, saw the Command receiving a copy of the petition and it was dully acknowledged with stamped.
