WhiteHorse to launch mass transit operations next week — CEO

The Chairman of Whitehorse Group Limited, Dr. Paul Ndi Oyemike has revealed that the company will launch Whitehorse Mass Transit next week.
Speaking to Nigerian NewsDirect Newspaper in a chat at his office Life Camp Area, Abuja said the company has various subsidiaries consisting of WhiteHorse Capital, WhiteHorse Mass Transit, WhiteHorse Courier, WhiteHorse Luxury Hotels and WhiteHorse Air limited.
“ We are planning to launch the mass transit next week to render effective and quality services to Nigerians in the transport sector. In the following week you will see our expulsion in the transport fleets.”
The business mogul stressed that at WhiteHorse Capital, they are into sale of affordable vehicles to workers across government agencies and parastatals, cooperatives through advance payment and subsequent deduction from salaries through their banks.
Dr. Oyemike emphasized that the recent arrangement entered between his company and some Federal Fire service staff for vehicles purchase will be sorted out in a few weeks.
“We have some challenges, it’s internal arrangement with our finances on the other part of the balances for the vehicles so we have so much delay on it, especially Lagos as the hub of shifting vehicles, with the COVID-19 challenge. But any moment from now we should be delivering the vehicles and going public to inform our customers.
He stressed that WhiteHorse is out to put smiles on faces of Nigerians to purchase cars at their comfort without unnecessary stress, as it is done in abroad.
The CEO stated that the COVID-19 pandemic is posing a serious challenge, most especially, when it comes to travelling overseas for business trips, but that they are moving ahead with their services.
He said, “COVID-19 is affecting very business sector, especially the transportation of goods and services which have so many protocols thereby slowing down our transactions in terms of manpower and company base issues.”
The Chairman noted that several companies and businesses are comatose and even folded up because of the pandemic but that WhiteHorse is striving hard to operate seemlessly.
According to him they have terminals in all the four quadrants of Nigeria like Abuja, Lagos, Delta and Enugu with more plans to expand beyond the shores of the country.
