Justice and tranquility is now becoming a mirage in this country as many had been deprived right to live. Human life has little or no value to the ruthless Fulani bandit and other extremist Islamic movement bandits who are daily slaughtering both old and young upon the altar of religious crisis and terorrism.
The menance and attacks on innocent souls that daily erupts in Nigeria sends me down memory lane of a battered and terorrized friend of mine called Ezekiel Olu – Aina. He is just one among thousands that have not been able to recover from the terror of this nation, what a pity!
Ezekiel Olu-Aina was one of the victims of fiery attacks by an unknown Muslim fanatic bandit in November 8, 2016. The innocent young man was busy moving around the country doing his business and also the work of God. Unfortunately, he was at a crusade in Suleja Niger State on that fateful day when he was attacked with other ministers in the field.
In spite of the threats, trauma, and emotional torture, and mental breakdown he suffered after he survived the attack on him at the crusade ground none of the culprit was arrested. His frustration nearly degenerated to mental instability. He has disappeared into thin air since then, when his life was in danger. The whereabouts of this gentleman is neither known nor confirmed by any of our old friends.
Personally, I had wished he reached out to me within the past years, but he never did.
However, the question borders around the failure or inability of our security agencies in the country to protect lives and properties. Where have we missed it in this country? Where is the intelligence of our armed forces of Nigeria trained to fight insurgency? I am using this medium to call on the Federal Government of Nigeria to rise up to the security challenges of our dear nation.
