We have received no petition yet — Ogun APC State Congress Appeal Committee

Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon-five man led APC State Congress Appeal Committee for Ogun State beginning its sitting today at Quartz Room, Conference Hotel, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta has said that it has received no petition yet from the party congress held in the state on Saturday, October 16.
Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon, the Chairman of the committee made this disclosure while addressing journalists at the APC State Secretariat, Leme, Abeokuta on Monday.
The former House of Representatives member said that the Committee was empanelled by Caretaker Extra Ordinary and Convention Planning Committee of the ruling party, APC to review the state congresses with a view to ensuring justice, equity and fair play and therefore guaranteeing the integrity of the entire process.
He said the essence of the press briefing is to announce the arrival of the appeal committee to all APC stakeholders in the state and declare its readiness and commitment to receive and treat all petitions arising from the recently conducted state congress of the party.
Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon urged all those who have petition against the party state congress to bring forward their petition saying that if however after two days the Committee received no petition, it would believe that everyone was quite satisfied with the whole process and proceed to write its report for the national leadership of the party.
It would be recalled that the faction of the party loyal to the immediate past governor of the state, Sen Ibikunle Amosun had held a parallel congress of the ruling party at Ake palace, Abeokuta against the directive of the national leadership of the party.
Other members of the committee are Barr. C. J. Chinwuba as Secretary while Hon. Muazu Bawa Rajau, Hon. Aboge-Isaac Olaleye Olubunmi Felix and Hon Jibrin Akowe are to serve as members.
