Comrade Godwin Nwachukwu Anazie, an illustrious son of Agbor who is an oil magnate based in Warri Delta State has expressed confidence on the new Chief of Defense, Major General Leo Irabor, describing him as a man who can be trusted because he has proven his mettle from his past track record from previous offices which he occupied and served meritoriously without blemish.
Comrade Godwin Nwachukwu Anazie who spoke in Warri Delta State observed in his commendation speech that Major General Leo Irabor, the new Chief of Defense, is a humble man who rose through the ranks by putting in a painstaking effort in the building of a veritable Nigerian Army that can stand the test of protecting the territorial intergrity of our country at any given time.
According to Comrade Godwin Nwachukwu Anazie, President Muhammadu Buhari found the requisite knowledge in Major General Leo Irabor before selecting him as the qualified Army General to take over the saddle of leadership of the office of Chief of Defense as a round peg in a round hole.
Speaking further, he explained that the professional input of Major General Leo Irabor as a trained military personnel is not easily quantifiable because there are living testimonies of the fact that he has what it takes to maintain the office of Chief of Defense for the preservation of the sovereignty of our country Nigeria.
Comrade Godwin Nwachukwu Anazie, the illustrious son of Agbor noted during the media interactive session that General Irabor made the Nigeria Army proud as he excelled in all the earlier places of duty.
While buttressing his argument with facts he pointed out saying: “our indefatigable Chief of Defense has made Nigeria proud having served gallantly and successfully as the commander, Boko Haram Counter Insurgency Operation Lafia Dole in March 2016 – May 2017, Commander Multinational Joint Task Force, May 2017 – August 2018, Commander Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Nigeria Army before he took over from General Abayomi Domisaleri on the 26th of January 2021 as the new Chief of Defense.”
He expressed optimism that Nigerians will have cause to celebrate his coming to clear the Augean Stable and increase the morale of the Nigerian Army personnel to face any kind of security challenge in the country.
