He explained that the Cultural Peace Fiesta was organised to promote peaceful coexistence through cultural display, exhibition and hitch talents through arts competition, mentioning it has the capability to bring the citizens together in the spirit of oneness to discourage any form of conflict in the name of ethnicity or religious differences.
He noted that there will be relative peace and harmony among residents if programmes that bring people together regardless of their differences are upheld once in a while, adding that they have mentioned to the State Government to institutionalise sports in the State so that talented individuals can showcase what they have got and make life comfortable for themselves and their respective families.
He said GPD will not relent in its efforts to see a united Kaduna State, where citizens leverage on their diversity to promote peaceful coexistence amongst themselves, adding that the Peace Fiesta started with a football match, with Takau FC emerging as winner of the cup on the 17th of September, 2023.
