We appear to be in confusion – Tinubu

The Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Party (APC), Ahmed Bola Tinubu has described Nigeria to be a Nation of confusion.
He made the disclosure during the 70th Birthday Celebration of Matthew Hassan Kukah Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese Organised by the Kukah Centre held in Sheraton hotel Abuja on Wednesday.
He said ” I listened to the panelists who discussed about the state of Nigeria. We appear to be in confusion about our nation.
” I heard about the second stanza of the National Anthem from the Kayode (Ekiti state Governor) but he has forgotten that we have one National Anthem before that which says ‘ though tongue and tribes may differs but in brotherhood we stand. And in the second stanza too is a pledge that Nigerians are ready to serve. It’s about service to this country.
According to him we inherited speaking in tongues from the Bible but our diversity is a promise for prosperity in the country.
He extolled the celebrant Bishop Matthew Kukuh as an outstanding and intellectual person who has contributed greatly the Democracy of this country.
He said ” Bishop an intellectual and it’s not just education alone because there are many elites but it’s about the character who are, consistently you have endure perseverance and we have been in the train together.
” In terms of education you’re a big contributor. Both in America and in Nigeria I can speak for you because who you are. A great man a great and a very resilient intellectual Contributor to our country.
Tinubu emphasized he will continue his resources towards actualizing the that the Kukuh institution.
He said ” you’re building an institution in the honor of your 70th birthday celebration I’m 70years too and I’ll help build not an institution but the greatness of the nation. It’s on your shoulder, it’s on mine and we must build it together I will contribute handsomely, personally to see to the completion of this Institution.
Recalled that Gov. Kayode Fayemi, Dr. Sam Amadi among other intellectuals formed the panelists of discussant during the event.
