Voters stranded in VGC, as INEC relocates polling unit

Many voters resident in the Victoria Garden City area of Lagos have been left stranded.

Newsmen report that the INEC officials had moved the polling centre from an open field within the estate to a location outside the estate close to the expressway leaving Many voters disenfranchised.

Award Winning Actress, Omoni Oboli who is a resident of the estate said the INEC officials refused to come into the estate to setup at the usual venue of the polling units which was already setup.

Oboli had arrived at the polling unit around 6:30am with other residents of the estate including former Presidential aspirant, Fela Durotoye.

As at the time of filing this report, operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had arrived at the polling unit situated close to the expressway to examine the situation.
