Victor Regal Launches Innovative Idea Challenge with the Upsurge Leadership Foundation Team

Victor Regal, a 19 year old Change maker passionate about quality education, has set up an Educational Innovative Challenge for teenagers between the ages of 13-19 to pitch their ideas on how we can improve the quality of education in our Country.

Victor Regal has a history of involving in community development. He is the Founder of TeenExpressions Radio show, a show centered on the inclusion of teenagers in African development. Through this program, over 2500 teenagers have been able to get involved in their communities and democracy locally, nationally and even internationally.

He is also the Co-Founder of Upsurge Leadership Foundation (formerly known as Royal Foundation International), an NGO established to raise young African leaders. In past years, he conveyed leadership programs in different states with over 1200 students present. During this COVID-19 Pandemic, he was able to organize an Online Leadership Trainings for young people with over 130 registered participants.

He was a speaker at the Teen General Assembly 2020, invited to participate in the 5th coronation anniversary of the Oni of Ife @ooniadimulaife, and has been featured on different newspapers like NewsDirect, Vanguard, and more

He is currently an African Young leader at Teennationafrica.org, an Ashoka young change maker, the former  Hult Prize Campus Director and  Institutional Campus Director of Commonwealth for his school.

This current challenge is as a result of the effects of the pandemic on the education of students in Nigeria and how young people can use their ideas to solve it.
