Utility cars for LG Chairmen: Governor decries social media twists
Governor Dapo Abiodun has decried negative comments on Social media about the twisting of car gift for Local Govt Chairmen.
According to statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary, Somorin, “The attention of the Ogun State Government has been drawn to stories making the rounds regarding the issue of Mikano vehicles made available by the Governor of Ogun State to local Government chairmen in the State to assist in discharging their responsibilities to the people.
“Inasmuch as various groups have the right to express their minds on issues, we want to plead with them not to interfere unduly in the matter, as it is an internal issue.
“Given the nature of the exchanges online, in social media and even conventional media, the Ogun State Government wishes to state that this intra-governmental affair is being resolved amicably.”
