US President Joe Biden tests positive for COVID-19

US President Joe Biden has tested positive for Covid-19 and is showing mild symptoms.

At 81 years old, Biden tested positive after attending his initial event in Las Vegas, where he was scheduled to speak later at the UnidosUS annual conference.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre revealed the positive test result after the UnidosUS president announced that Biden would be unable to attend a planned engagement due to his diagnosis.

Jean-Pierre stated that Biden tested positive earlier in the day “following his first event in Las Vegas.”

“He is vaccinated and boosted, and he is currently experiencing mild symptoms,” Jean-Pierre explained.

Biden will return to Delaware to self-isolate while continuing to perform his duties fully during this period. The White House will offer regular updates on the President’s condition as he maintains his responsibilities from isolation.
