The University of Ilorin (Unilorin) has announced that its 2024/2025 pre-admission screening will hold from August 5th and 18th.
The institution’s Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr. Kunle Akogun, disclosed this in a statement on Monday outlining the guidelines for the screening exercise.
Akogun said, “Admission offer would be based on UTME/DE aggregate score – 50 per cent, post-UTME screening score – 30 per cent, and five relevant O’ level grades – 20 per cent.”
He emphasized that all candidates must upload their O’ Level and/or A’ Level results on JAMB CAPS, and those awaiting results should indicate by typing/selecting ‘AR’ (awaiting result).
The spokesperson advised candidates to effect changes in their courses on JAMB CAPS, not on the institution’s portal, and warned that updates would not be allowed after registration closure.
He also stressed the importance of having a personal, valid, and active email address and mobile number before commencing registration.
Akogun said, “Candidates should proceed to pay a registration fee of ₦2,000.00 only. They are advised to crosscheck the correctness of all entries before final submission.”
He cautioned that errors would be treated as deliberate falsification of results, leading to automatic disqualification.
