The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has raised an alarm over fraudulent activities targeting students and parents of the School of Foundation Studies (SFS), warning them to beware of scammers soliciting payments for assistance with JUPEB exams.
The UNILAG Communication Unit disclosed that certain individuals have been contacting students and parents, claiming to offer assistance with Continuous Assessment (CA) and JUPEB exams in exchange for payments.
However, the university emphasised that these individuals are not affiliated with the School of Foundation Studies.
“Please note that the School takes pride in the credibility of its academic services and does not offer such assistance to any student under any circumstance,” the university stated.
The university urged stakeholders to be cautious of these scams and misrepresentation of the school’s integrity. For authentic information and enquiries, stakeholders are advised to visit the official website or contact the school via email or phone.
“Rest assured, the School of Foundation Studies, UNILAG is poised to continue in its quest to provide a solid foundation that will enable its students cope with the rigours of university education anywhere in the world after their Foundation Programme,” the university assured.
