UNILAG graduates 561 first class students

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) will graduate 561 first class students at its 55th convocation.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, noted that on January 14, and 16, the university would be graduating 16,343 students, 561 are in the first-class category, 3,910 are in the second-class upper class and 3,723 are in the second-class lower category.

Also, the Director General of the World Trade Organization, WTO, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the co-founder of Guarantee Trust Bank, Mr Fola Adeola and the Managing Director of the Sahara Power Group, Mr Kola Adesina, are to be honoured with an honorary doctorate during the ceremony
