The Nigerian Education Loan Fund has announced the disbursement of N2,946,927,155 in student loans to 27,667 students across 19 institutions nationwide. This update was shared on Friday via the Fund’s X handle under #NELFUND.
As of August 14, 2024, students from 22 state-owned tertiary institutions have been approved to apply for loans, increasing the total number of approved state institutions to 108.
