Ukeji Ibironke emerges new president of Abeokuta Jewels Lion club
Mrs. Ukeji Ibironke has been installed as the 7th President of Abeokuta Jewels Lions Club.
The classy event took place recently at Lions Den on 5th Nov, 2022 in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The event which also witnessed fundraising for the prestigious club and installations of other members.
Speaking at the event, Lion Ibironke called for the support of her club members to have a successful tenure.
“It is said that the journey of a thousand mile begins with a step. It has been 5yrs of storming, forming and performing. I begin my journey as a lion in the year June 2018 and that single step i took then earned me this honour and reward today.
“In accepting the mantle of leadership as the 7th President of Abeokuta Jewels Lon club, I am mindful of the enormous responsibilities that comes with it, there is never a time when privilege comes without responsibility.
“It is a known fact that lion serve and am so delighted to say I’m here to serve my community as out motto remain “WE SERVE”.
Furthermore, she pleaded with members of the club for their generous donations towards success of the lions year and beyond.
“I am pleading and appealing for your generous donation towards the success of this lion year and beyond, with a powerful and greatest respect.
“I state that showing kidness to one another is a verifiable source of happiness, in doing this we develop a heart Gratitude to God.” She said
