UCL: Congratulations – Piers Morgan mocks Ten Hag for breaking unwanted record
British broadcaster, Piers Morgan has mocked Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag following the Red Devils’ Champions League 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.
Recall that Kingsley Coman’s 70th-minute goal ensured Bayern Munich defeated Man United at Old Trafford.
The result against Bayern, also means that Man United are now out of the Champions League this season.
However, according to Morgan, Man United became the first English team in history to concede 15 goals in the Champions League group stage.
He wrote on his X account, “Congrats to Erik Ten Hag on breaking a record – Manchester United have become the first English side in history to concede 15 goals in the Champions League group stage.”
Morgan has been a vocal critic of Ten Hag in recent months.
He has called the Dutchman out several times for his treatment of former Man United forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
