UBA board of directors to meet over Q3 2020 results

The board and directors of United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc are expected to meet on October 22, 2020 to consider third quarter (Q3) ended September 30, 2020 unaudited result and accounts.

The Group Company Secretary, UBA, Bili Odum in a signed statement on Thursday said, “In line with listing regulations of the Nigerian Stock Exchange for quoted companies, United Bank for Africa hereby informs its shareholders, the NSE and the investing public that the Board of Directors of the Bank is scheduled to meet on Thursday, October 22, 2020 to consider, amongst other matters, the Group Unaudited Accounts and Financial Statements for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020.

“In compliance with the post listing requirements of the NSE for quoted companies, United Bank for Africa hereby declares the commencement of the closed period for trading in the Bank’s shares from Wednesday, October 7, 2020 in respect of the Group Unaudited Accounts and Financial Statements for the Third Quarter ended September 30, 2020.

“Accordingly, no Director, person discharging managerial responsibility, employee with sensitive information, adviser, and consultant of the Bank and their connected persons may directly or indirectly deal in the Securities (Shares and Bonds) of the Bank until 24 hours after the release of the Group Unaudited Accounts and Financial Statements for the Third Quarter ended September 30, 2020 to the NSE.”
