Guinea U-23 head coach, Morlaye Cisse is upbeat his team will beat the Olympic Eagles to the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations ticket.
Cisse’s side held the Olympic Eagles to a 0-0 draw in the first leg at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, on Wednesday.
The Guineans missed a number of chances in the game.
Both teams will clash again in the reverse fixture in Rabat next week Tuesday.
Ahead of the game, Cisse is hopeful his team will get the job done in the return leg.
“A very positive and somewhat bitter analysis given the number of chances we had in this match. Not punishing them remains a taste of unfinished business,” he told Feguifoot.com.
“But, I am very happy with the boys on the commitment, the motivation and the state of mind that they put on this match. I hope we will be able to reproduce the same thing for the return match.”
