Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly has reacted to midfielder Mason Mount’s departure from the club.
Mount officially completed a transfer switch from Chelsea to Manchester United on Wednesday.
The England international joined Man United in a deal worth £55 million, plus a further £5 million in add-ons.
Reacting, Boehly, along with co-controlling owners Behdad Eghbali and Jose E. Feliciano, thanked Mount for his time at Chelsea, describing the 24-year-old as a consummate professional.
In a statement via Chelsea’s website, Boehly said: “Mason is a consummate professional and a popular figure at the club. We want to thank him for all his efforts on and off the pitch throughout his time at Chelsea.”
