Atletico Madrid is reportedly eyeing a move for Chelsea striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, as a possible replacement for Joao Felix and Matheus Cunha.
According to AS, Atletico Madrid manager, Diego Simeone, is keen to bring in a new forward and has identified Aubameyang as one of his targets to replace Felix and Cunha at Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.
Recall that Cunha has already joined Wolves on loan for the remainder of the season with an obligation to buy, while Felix is on the verge of moving to Chelsea.
Other Simeone’s targets to replace Felix at Atletico Madrid apart from Aubameyang are RB Leipzig’s Andre Silva, Real Betis forward Borja Iglesias and Borussia Monchengladbach’s Marcus Thuram.
Aubameyang joined Chelsea from Barcelona last summer.
The former Arsenal captain has failed to impress at Stamford Bridge so far this season.
