Transfer: Schweinsteiger advises Kane to join title-winning club

Bundesliga legend Bastian Schweinsteiger has advised Tottenham striker Harry Kane to join Bayern Munich if he truly wants to win trophies in his career.

Bayern Munich had made an initial £63 million offer for the England captain, which was rejected by Spurs.

Kane has just one year left on his contract. Not selling him this summer means that the England captain will walk away free next summer.

Reports claim Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel has held talks with Kane, and Schweinsteiger has now sent his own plea to the 29-year-old.

But another report emerged yesterday with the claim that Spurs have offered the England skipper an eye-watering deal to tie him to the club.

Schweinsteiger, a former Bayern Munich midfielder, told talkSPORT: “It’d be a great fit! Does he want titles? They would like to sign him, but I also know they won’t pay what Tottenham Hotspur ask for.”
