Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has once again provided an update on the future of the club’s talismanic forward, Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen has been linked with some of Europe’s top clubs following a remarkable campaign for the Partenopei.
Napoli are expected to demand a big fee to sell the Nigerian international.
There are also talks over a new contract, which will see the striker double his pay at the club.
De Laurentiis hinted that Osimhen will remain at the club next season, but he will accept a suitable offer for the player.
“We will see Victor Osimhen wearing our shirt next season, that’s for sure,” he was quoted as saying by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
“Then if a ‘more than indecent proposal’ arrives, we will move on and find another top talent, as we did with Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen.”
Osimhen was the top scorer in Serie A last season with 26 goals from 32 games.
