Manchester United is interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen’s Moussa Diaby, with Jadon Sancho facing an uncertain future at Old Trafford.
Sancho has failed to live up to the billing at Man United since his £72 million arrival from Borussia Dortmund in 2021.
The England international scored seven goals and registered three assists last season in a campaign where he was given significant time off by Man United manager Erik Ten Hag.
He is one of a few dispensable first-team players that could fetch big money on the open market.
Man United’s Premier League rival Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in Sancho and a sale could raise around £50 million.
However, according to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils could use that cash to bid for Diaby, who had a fine season in the Bundesliga last season.
Diaby scored 11 goals and registered 14 assists during a thrilling campaign under Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso.
