Barcelona midfielder, Pedri, has dismissed reports linking him with a move to Paris Saint-Germain to join manager Luis Enrique, who is set to become the next coach of the French Ligue 1 champions.
Recent rumours had suggested PSG were preparing to lure Pedri away from Barcelona.
Hope was also heightened with the expected appointment of Enrique, a former Barcelona manager, at the helm of the Parisians.
Speaking with Teledeporte via SPORT, Pedri was asked about a potential move to PSG where he could reunite with his former Spanish national team manager Enrique.
The 20-year-old, however, debunked the rumour, stating that it is not what he has in mind but believes Enrique would be a good coach for PSG.
“It is not what I have in mind,” Pedri said. “I don’t know if Luis Enrique is going to sign players or not. In any case, I am sure he would be a good coach for PSG.”
