The Olu Isese of Ogun State, Oba Dr. Ifarotimi Adifagbola Balogun, has called on all levels of government to urgently involve traditionalists across the country to help stop the spate of killings and destruction of life and properties.

This is coming on the heels of frequent killings and destruction of life and properties in the state and in the country.

In a press release signed by the Olu Isese of Ogun State, he advised the government to appreciate the works of the traditionalists by making use of them as security guards and entourage in any offices or occasions.

He said that if such method (using traditionalist) was being implemented in the system of the country, killings and destructions of properties would be a thing of the past.

While addressing journalists at his palace in Idi-Ori, Ita Oshin, Abeokuta, Ogun State, the Monarch said political office holders should be allowed to include Ogun, Sango etc with Bible and Quran in their oath taking during their swearing-in into their various  offices.

The Oba also advised Nigerians to go back to the first origin (Orunmila) “as our forefathers used to do in the olden days so that things will work out well for both home and abroad as he believes that is the true religion.”

According to him, Christianity and Islamic religions are borrowed religions, saying, “Let us all go back to our first religion (Isese) so that things will be normalise as we all expected.”

The Monarch concluded by urging Nigerians to continue to support and believe in the first religion so that sacrifices made to God will be accepted on behalf the country.
