Tinubu pens personal tribute to Bishop Oyedepo at 70

President Bola Tinubu has paid tribute to Dr. David Oyedepo, the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide and Presiding Bishop of Faith Tabernacle, as he celebrates his 70th birthday on September 27.

 In a statement titled “President Tinubu Hails Bishop David Oyedepo At 70,” the President expressed his joy alongside the global Body of Christ, members of Winners Chapel, and Oyedepo’s family on this significant milestone.

Tinubu acknowledged Oyedepo’s impactful legacy in cultivating leaders across various sectors, emphasising the inspiration drawn from scriptural wisdom. He highlighted the bishop’s contributions to millions through his educational and healthcare initiatives.

Furthermore, the President praised Oyedepo’s teachings of the Word of Faith, stating that it “has stimulated the entrepreneurial spirit and reawakened a new movement for growth in Nigeria, Africa, and beyond.”

He noted that Oyedepo has consistently elevated Nigeria’s profile through his teachings, publications, and worldwide missionary efforts, while also advising leaders in both the private and public sectors.

In his message, Tinubu extended his congratulations to Bishop Oyedepo, his wife, Faith Abiola, and their spiritual family, praying for continued success in their ministry.
