Tinubu, Ganduje to resolve rift between Jubrin and Kano APC

The former Governor of Lagos State and All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has stepped in to resolve the political rift between Abdulmunin Jibrin and key stakeholders in his constituency in Kano State.

Recall that Abdulmumin Jibrin, the former Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation and the Director General Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Support Groups Management Council (ABTSGMC) who’s presently leading the presidential campaign team announced his intention to dump All Progressives Congress for an undisclosed party on his Social media handle on Saturday evening.

Jubrin revealed this after purchasing the APC nomination form to return to the national assembly presented to him by his Kiru/Ibeji federal constituency.

Jibrin who failed to give his reasons for leaving the APC, it was gathered that it was related to the decision not to give him the party’s ticket to return to the House of Representatives.

In the same vein, Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has directed the state secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to immediately take measures for the amicable resolution of the internal differences arising from interested parties seeking nomination to contest election into the Kiru/Bebeji federal constituency.

To this end, the party secretariat has complied and summoned a stakeholders meeting to discuss the situation in the constituency.

A statement signed by the chairman of the state chapter of the party, Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas revealed that an invitation has been sent to all the aspiring candidates for the position. It said Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin has already accepted the proposal and readiness to attend the meeting.

Abbas, in the statement, called on the parties to remain calm and cooperate with the party with a view to resolving the internal crisis and further assured that the meeting would come up with a position acceptable to all the aspirants.
