Tinubu ex-aide urges Nigerians to embrace peace, unity amidst national challenges

Prominent Nigerian figure Stephen Adedayo has called on citizens to choose peace, progress, and unity as the nation navigates its current difficulties.

This appeal follows discussions with journalists in Lagos, where Adedayo and other notable individuals addressed pressing national concerns.

Stephen Adedayo, a notable reformer and former photographer to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the late Mrs. Kudirat Abiola, has urged Nigerians to embrace peace, progress, and unity.

Speaking at a meeting with journalists in Lagos, Adedayo highlighted the importance of resolving conflicts peacefully, avoiding violence, and focusing on inclusive economic growth.

Adedayo acknowledged the legitimate grievances of protesters but advocated for a pause in demonstrations to prevent further loss of lives and property.

He emphasized the need for constructive dialogue with authorities to facilitate rebuilding and recovery efforts.

In his address, Adedayo urged all Nigerians to engage in peaceful and respectful discussions, support small businesses, and boost local economies. He stressed that by promoting unity and inclusivity within communities, citizens can contribute to a stronger, more cohesive nation.

“However, let me encourage our youths to hold leaders accountable through democratic processes,” Adedayo said. “By choosing peace, progress, and unity, Nigerians can create a better future for themselves and generations to come. Join this collective call to action and be part of shaping a more united, peaceful, and prosperous Nigeria,”he said.
