Tinubu appoints new management team for Galaxy Backbone
…Makes new appointments at NCC, NIGCOMSAT
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed a new management team for Galaxy Backbone Limited.
The President in a statement by his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale made the announcement of appointments made by the President for the Digital economy sector.
President Tinubu appointed Ibrahim Adepoju Adeyanju as the new Managing Director/CEO and he replaces Professor Muhammad Abubakar Bello who had taken the agency from obscurity to being one of the pivotal agencies steering the nation’s digital agenda.
The President also made changes at the Nigerian Communications Commission appointing Abraham Oshadami as Executive Commissioner, Technical Services, Rimini Makama as Executive Commissioner, Stakeholder Management and Opeyemi Dele-Ajayi as President/CEO, Digital Bridge Institute.
The Nigerian Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT) Limited was also not left out as the President appointed Abiodun Attah as Executive Director, Technical Services, Aisha Abdullahi as Executive Director, Finance & Administration, Jaiyeola Awokoya — Executive Director, Marketing & Business Development.
Other persons appointed at Galaxy Backbone Limited include Mohammed Sani Ibrahim as Executive Director, Finance & Corporate Services, Olusegun Olulade as Executive Director, Customer Centricity & Marketing and Olumbe Akinkugbe as Executive Director, Digital Exploration & Technical Services.
President Tinubu changed the new appointees to deliver excellent services to elevate the impact of the digital economy sector on the socio-economic development of the nation.
