Thugs clash at Osun deputy governor’s polling unit

Crisis has erupted at Osun state deputy governor’s polling unit, opposite Ooni’s palace, Enuwa, Ile-Ife.

The deputy governor, Prince Kola Adewusi who was present at the polling unit when the incident occurred.

A suspected cult member was said to have attempted to attack a Peoples’ Democratic Party leader, Prof. Wale Ladipo at the unit.

When our correspondent who visited the polling, learnt that some leaders of the PDP asked voters who would not vote for PDP should leave the polling unit angered some voters which resulted in the clash.

The clash would have been escalated if not for quick combined effort of the security agents. The situation has been normal.
