The PDP rule in Osun is temporary – APC chieftain

….says APC will win all elections

By Jeleel Olawale

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Hon. Olusegun Adeyeni has described the change of government in Osun as temporary with the way things are going at the Tribunal, which is an indication that the party will soon return to government.

Adeyeni made the disclosure while speaking with journalists. According to him, the issue of certificate scandal and over voting which the party established against the People’s Democratic Party cannot be defended by them.

“The Osun people know what is on ground now. It will be an insult for people of Osun to vote people who cannot boast of themselves in government and certificate they possess.

“We thank BVAS that exposed the over voting they did. And this means it’s not the will of the people of Osun to vote PDP in power. It is temporary change of government. The APC will return to power in 2023.

“PDP is tenant in Osun because the poll is being challenged at the Tribunal. It is evident that they are tenants in government house now. They will soon leave for people who know governance to return”, Adeyeni declared.

The former APC House of Assembly member said APC will coast home victory in all elections come 2023 because the party has learnt its lesson in bitter manner. He noted that the party will put its house in order. “The aggrieved members have been consulted and contacted so they have returned to the party”.

“The TOP group has returned to the party and ready to work with the party and this will make the party stronger and prepare for the election and give it victory. The division in the party caused the party to have lost the governorship election. If we are one, we would not have lost the poll. There will not be room for PDP to have over voting.

“If they see what is bad for the party they will not talk because they will show nonchalant attitude. The TOP has been integrated into the mainstream of the party. They will not be seen as saboteur.

“So, all leaders have been united, including Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola. He has directed that all TOP members should be disbanded and integrated into the mainstream of the party. They have held a press conference and this is a directive from Aregbesola. The future is bright and we are taking back power from our tenants in government house”.

The former council chairman noted that victory is sure for APC in all elections and all our candidates will be elected, urging electorate to vote APC and all aggrieved members should forget what has happened in the past and move on in the interest of the party.
