Thank God Chicago State is not Lagos State University or Lagos Polytechnic

Now that the Chicago State University certification has undergone rigorous scrutiny, it’s time for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to take a break and prepare for the next election, should he wish to do so. Fortunately, Chicago State is not as susceptible to challenges as Lagos State University or Lagos Polytechnic might have been. In those cases, the deposition and released documents might have faced scrutiny, potentially compromising the school’s integrity. However, Chicago State is located in the mighty USA, where such issues are less likely to arise. The question of bribing a school registrar or management is moot, and there’s no room for an “Oluwole” narrative.

However, this advice is not primarily directed at Atiku himself, but the individuals we might term the “children of perdition” or the educationally idiots, whom he may have inadvertently influenced. Throughout a significant portion of President Muhammadu Buhari’s presidency, the issue of his identity and nationality dominated the political discourse. Some even went as far as suggesting that he was a clone, a storyline you may recall as “Jubril Sudan.”

Now, we will find ourselves grappling with another narrative of Amoda Ogunlere and the looming presence of now *Miss Bola Tinubu* in our political landscape for the next three years.

And if that weren’t enough, a new narrative has surfaced, perhaps fully baked by now – the Mobil Nigeria saga. Politics and its players can be ruthless, but who could have anticipated it would reach such depths? Pius Akinyelure may soon be labeled an enabler for his role in facilitating the exit of the controversial Mr. Bola Tinubu, who now bears the title of President Bola Tinubu, following allegations of misconduct and embezzlement and how Akinyelure aided his resignation intead of being fired from the company.

These detractors seem determined to discredit our president, and anyone who courageously defends him is often unfairly labeled an ethnic bigot or an illiterate. People need to be prepared to withstand such bullying tactics.
