A 17-year-old boy was on Friday remanded in a correctional centre by a Chief Magistrates’ Court in Kano for alleged robbery.

The minor, who resides in Kura Local Government area of Kano, is facing a two-count charge of criminal conspiracy and robbery.

The Prosecutor, Miss Asma’u Ado, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on July 23 at Kura Town, Kano.

Ado said the defendant about 4.00 p.m. allegedly conspired with another 17-year-old minor, to rob one Aisha Muhammad of her cell phone.
