Tax Thursday at Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS)
#Tax Thursday is a day—the second Thursday of every month—set aside by the management of FIRS where staff of the Service adorn the FIRS colours, wear tax branded shirts and caps, and engage with taxpayers to educate, sensitive and enlighten them on issues around tax; including timely registration for tax purpose, correct reporting of their business transactions, prompt filing of tax returns and payment of various taxes as part of their civic obligations.
