Taiwo Oyedele, a popular public analyst, has exited the PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
This is in response to his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration as Chairman Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms.
Oyedele, who served PwC for two decades as Fiscal Policy Partner and Africa Tax Leader, disclosed this on Wednesday through his verified Twitter handle.
Newsmen recalls that Tinubu inaugurated the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms to be chaired by Oyedele.
According to Oyedele, his decision to quit PwC is to enable him to focus entirely on the crucial national assignment.
“After over two decades at PwC, I have made the hard but necessary decision to exit the firm. It will enable me to focus fully with undivided attention on my new role as the Chair of the Presidential Fiscal Policy & Tax Reform Committee, which I consider a crucial national assignment.
“This decision will also prevent potential distractions from real or perceived conflicts of interest. Thank you all once again for your support, best wishes and prayers. May God bless you all, and may God bless Nigeria”, he wrote.
