SWAN directs Kebbi State Council to conduct election before Jan. 2023

The national body of Sports Writers’ Association of Nigeria (SWAN), has directed its Kebbi State Council to conduct election of its executive members before the end of 2022.

Mr Dalladi Ibrahim-Baba, the Electoral Committee Chairman in the state, made the disclosure in a statement issued to Journalists in Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday.

The statement reads in parts: “Election of executive members into various offices to run the affairs of SWAN Kebbi State Council must be conducted before Jan. 2023.

“In this regard, the Electoral Committee wishes to notify all aspirants that each candidate is mandated to pay N1,000 only for the nomination form.

“In view of this, election is slated for Wednesday, Dec. 28, at KACHEMA Conference Hall, Birnin Kebbi, by 3:00p.m.
