Supreme Court ruling: Adeleke commends Apex Court, dedicates victory to God

Osun state Governor-elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke has commended the Supreme Court after his affirmation as the authentic candidate of the Peoples Democratic party, (PDP) in the just concluded Osun 2022 Governorship Election.
The Supreme Court sitting in Abuja on Thursday, ruled over pre-primary election matter between Sen. Ademola Adeleke and Dr. Dotun Babayemi of the Peoples Democratic Party.
In a statement signed by the Spokesperson to the Governor-Elect in Osogbo, Osun State capital, he described the outcome of the Supreme Court as the manifestation of the strong hand of God.
Sen. Adeleke said he dedicated the victory at the Apex Court to God and the good people of Osun state whose tremendous support has kept him going since the departure of his late brother.
Amidst shout of thanks to Almighty God from top leaders and family members, the Governor-Elect stated that with the armour of God, he got the victory by divine will.
Adeleke who described the lord judges as agents of truth and justice, said his faith in the judiciary has always been strong despite the 2018 incident, just as he acknowledged the newly rebranded judiciary as an harbinger of fairness and equity.
He appreciated his many supporters within and outside the country.
“As I noted in my statement yesterday, this project is divine and is here to stay. Our people voted for light and we must all defend and sustain that mandate built on our five point agenda for good governance,” Senator Adeleke noted.
He called on Governor Gboyega Oyetola to start compilation of his handing over notes, declaring “ the people’s mandate remains sacrosanct.”
