Stay off Mpape Lake Site, FCTA warns residents

The Social Development Secretariat (SDS), of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), has warned residents to stay away from the Mpape Aquifer Lake Site, one of the proposed tourist sites in the FCT.

In a statement signed by the Secretary, SDS, said activities of fun seekers and visitors have turned the site to hideout for criminal elements and miscreants to hang out and perpetrate their evil acts.

“Security agents have been deployed to apprehend any miscreants seen within the perimeters of the Mpape Aquifer Lake as part of measures towards the restoration of sanity to that lake vicinity,” the statement read.

The statement warned parents and guardians to warn their loved ones to stay away from the site to avoid undue harassment by security agencies.
