Standard Chartered Bank, others bag NBCC awards

Standard Chartered Bank, Nigerian Investment Promotion Council (NIPC) and the Bristish Deputy High Commission have bagged the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) most supportive organisation award.

President, NBCC, Ms Bisi Adeyemi in a report on Saturday in Lagos, said Standard Chartered Bank’s award was for the most supportive organisation and NIPC’s was for most supportive public sector organisation.

She added that the Bristish Deputy High Commission award was for the most supportive british institute and PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC) bagged the chamber’s award for technology support.

Adeyemi said the award celebrated excellence in the Nigerian business space while fostering UK-Nigerian Nigerian bilateral relationship.

She added that some deserving individual officers of the Chamber such as Prince Bimbo Olashore, Founder, Leadcapital Plc, Mr Akin Osuntoki, business management consultant, Mr Ray Atelly, Deputy President, and others received NBCC awards.

“The Chairman Advocacy Committee, Ms Anne Rinu, was specially recognised for her advocacy drive, while Mrs Doris Ugochukwu clinched the ‘Most Innovative Staff’ award, and Mrs Ajoke Onabolujo got the longest serving staff award.

“I laud all our members for their tremendous cooperation and support to the chamber over the years.

“The NBCC is on an upward trajectory and is poised to retain its leading position at the forefront of bilateral trade relations in Nigeria,” she said.

The NBCC President enumerated the achievements recorded in the course of the year 2022, which included the launch and take-off of the NBCC tech academy and the creatives and cultural groups among other notable initiatives.
