Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc is gearing up to host its annual Ikoyi Club 1938 Table Tennis competition, set to commence from July 15 to July 19, 2024, at the Table Tennis Section of Ikoyi Club 1938.
This eagerly anticipated week-long event will feature spirited competitions across various categories, offering members and their spouses a platform for both sport and camaraderie.
Chairman of the Table Tennis Section at Ikoyi Club 1938, Mr. Dare Olude, expressed gratitude to Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc for their steadfast sponsorship over the years, emphasising the role of corporate support in community and national sports development.
He encouraged other businesses to follow suit in nurturing sporting talent and fostering community engagement.
He said, “The least that any corporate organisation can do is to be socially responsible by contributing the little that they can to the development of their immediate community and the nation at large.”
